Establishing Geophysical Monitoring Scheme for Chemical/Geomicrobiological Processes

PI Tominaga has been leading field-base geophysical research that contributes to establishing geophysical (potential field) monitoring scheme in tracking (i) geological CO2 sequestration via carbonation processes hosted by ultramafic rock formation (Andreas Beinlich et al.); (ii) serpentinization-relatedmicrobiological habitats (Shrenk Lab at Michigan State University, and “Rock Powered Life” NASA- project, lead by Prof. Alexis Templeton at Univ. Colorado, Boulder).IMG_1617P1010215
